ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (PROFESSIONAL)

Are you passionate about SCUBA Diving and want to share your love for the underwater world with others? If so, then becoming a PADI Instructor might be the perfect opportunity for you. PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructors and PADI Assistant Instructors are highly sought-after professionals in the diving industry, and for good reason. They have completed a program that sets the standard for training dive professionals and have the expertise to teach the world's most progressive and popular SCUBA diver education programs. As an Assistant Instructor, you will learn to conduct all PADI core courses and be able to organize and present information, conduct skill development sessions, and control open water dives. The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts, the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water SCUBA Instructor (OWSI) program. Successful completion of the AI course results in a PADI Assistant Instructor qualification, while completion of the entire IDC leads to a full PADI Instructor certification.

But being a PADI Instructor is not just about teaching SCUBA diving; it's about transforming lives for the better and enriching your own. By sharing your passion and knowledge, you can help others experience the same joy and wonder that you have for SCUBA diving. As an Instructor, you have the power to create lasting memories for your students while ensuring their safety and respect for the underwater world. You'll be rewarded with a fulfilling career that allows you to embark on incredible underwater adventures with others.

To become an Assistant Instructor, you'll need at least 60 logged dives, emergency first response primary and secondary care (CPR and first aid) training within the past 24 months, and a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months. You'll also need to be an Emergency First Response Instructor, but you can earn this rating during your instructor training. After completing the Assistant Instructor (AI) course, you'll have the opportunity to progress to the OWSI program and attend an Instructor Examination (IE) to earn a full PADI Instructor rating.

At the Aegean Sea Dive Center, you can start your journey to becoming a PADI Instructor by enrolling in the IDC. By becoming a PADI Instructor, you will join the ranks of dedicated professionals who teach SCUBA Diving with the utmost care and respect for the underwater world; you will share your passion for SCUBA Diving, create lasting memories for your students, and embark on incredible underwater adventures.
