CAVERN DIVER (CONTINUING EDUCATION)

With the PADI Cavern Diver Specialty course, you'll gain the knowledge and skills necessary to explore caverns safely and correctly, while experiencing the thrill of adventure.

As a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver who is at least 18 years old, you're eligible to enroll in this course and learn about line handling, reel use, emergency procedures, specialized equipment, and more. You'll complete four dives, including three inside a cavern, where you'll practice anti-silting techniques, dive planning, and air management. Your PADI Instructor will guide you through the course and suggest appropriate gear for cavern diving, such as primary and backup lights, a line and reel, and possibly technical diving equipment.
