DIVE AGAINST DEBRIS (CONTINUING EDUCATION)

Embark on a journey to explore the magic of the underwater world and leave it even more beautiful than you found it. Dive Against Debris® Diver Specialty course is an opportunity to dive with a purpose, to transform your love and passion for the ocean into real action. With this course, you can be a part of the movement of divers who protect our planet's precious marine ecosystem. You will learn how to identify which objects should and shouldn't be removed from the ocean, and how to conduct a survey to sort, record, and report the marine debris you collect. You will make a difference on every dive, contributing to a global database that documents our planet's marine debris problem. Take this course if you want to become a citizen scientist for marine conservation, learn how to make a difference for our oceans, and keep your local dive sites clean and healthy. With the guidance of your instructor, plan and execute a dive with a buddy to remove underwater marine debris while demonstrating appropriate judgment.

Join us in the PADI Torchbearertm movement of divers protecting our ocean planet and making every dive count. This one-day course is open to those with PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, PADI Freedivertm or PADI Advanced Mermaidtm (or qualifying certification), and minimum age requirement of 10.
