This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to supervise SCUBA diving activities and assist with SCUBA classes, making you a role model to divers around the world.

 

The Divemaster course is the first step in your diving career, and it is designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge, supervision abilities, and specialized skills to become a professional in the field of SCUBA diving. During the course, you will complete a series of knowledge development sessions, water skill workshops, and hands-on assessments. You will learn about the role and characteristics of a PADI Divemaster, Dive safety and risk management, conducting dive briefings, and organizing search and recovery projects, among other things.

 

As a dive professional, safety, wellness, and love and respect for the underwater world are of utmost importance. That is why the Divemaster course requires that you have Rescue Diver certification, 40 logged dives, CPR and First Aid certification within 24 months, and medical clearance to dive. You will also need to have the necessary equipment, such as a dive computer, dive knife, and signaling devices, to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.

 

Completing the Divemaster course is not only an achievement in itself, but it also opens doors to further training and career opportunities. You may be able to get college credit for the course, and furthermore, your instructor may offer additional specialty diver courses to help you broaden your abilities.
