OPEN WATER SCUBA INSTRUCTOR (PROFESSIONAL)

OPEN WATER SCUBA INSTRUCTOR (PROFESSIONAL)

Are you looking for a fulfilling and exciting career that allows you to share your passion for SCUBA diving with others? Then look no further than becoming a PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor. As the most sought-after dive professional in the world, you'll be able to transform lives for the better while experiencing incredible underwater adventures yourself. But becoming a PADI Instructor is no easy feat. It requires hard work, dedication, and commitment to the highest standards of safety and education. That's why the Instructor Development Course (IDC) is a two-part program designed to make you an expert in the field. First, you'll complete the Assistant Instructor (AI) course, where you'll learn to become a better public speaker and master the art of demonstrating skills. Then, you'll move on to the Open Water SCUBA Instructor (OWSI) program, where you'll learn to conduct all PADI core courses while prioritizing student diver safety.

With over five days of intensive training, you'll master the PADI System, risk management, and the business of diving. You will also learn about marketing and sales counseling, making you a well-rounded professional ready to tackle any challenge. But the rewards of becoming a PADI Instructor are endless. You will be able to share your love of the underwater world with others and make a real difference in their lives. And with PADI's eLearning option, you can study at your own pace before class, making it easier to complete the program on your schedule.

To become a PADI Instructor, you will need to meet certain requirements, including at least 60 logged dives and Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training. You will also need a medical statement signed by a physician and must be an Emergency First Response Instructor (though you can earn this rating during your instructor training).
